Jack Langston - Trading and Development Director

Jack was educated in England and spent the first 7 years of his career as an apprentice in the UK building industry. Having gained a strong foundation in all aspects of construction in Britain, he has spent the last 20 years renovating, designing and building a huge range of large-scale construction projects around the world in 9 countries across 4 continents. Examples of Jack’s work can today be seen in the UK, Spain, Japan, Fiji, Hawaii, the USA, New Zealand, Thailand and Brazil, experience that is unrivalled in the Brazilian property industry today.

Mandy Langston - Agency and Research Director

Mandy, like her husband Jack, was also educated in the UK and also decided to pursue a life working around the world. Mandy’s core strength lies in property market research and discovering exciting and lucrative opportunities within global property markets.

Her research expertise has underpinned successful projects in all of the countries in which Jack has built and continues to inform the off plan development strategy of Atlantic Trust. Her strong background in Real Estate management around the world also brings a wealth of experience into our Agency business.

Nicol Kettleborough - Operations Director

After graduating from Durham University with a degree in Education, Nicol moved to New York City to live and work for 6 months. She then returned to the UK, where she spent the next 10 years building a successful career in teaching which culminated in her running a private infant school in Holland Park, London.

After taking time out to have children (and to move to Brazil!), Nicol now runs the Operations function at Atlantic Trust, managing all aspects of finance, people, and administration.

Simon Kettleborough - Corporate Director

After graduating in Modern Languages and Music from Durham University, Simon spent the first five years of his career in various sales, marketing and business development roles for British Steel and Guinness Great Britain across Europe, Asia and the US. Following a spell with a global strategy consulting company and having gained an MBA with Distinction from Warwick Business School, Simon co-founded a UK and South Africa-based management consulting company, which he still co-runs today. Simon is also currently reading an MSc in Sustainable Development at the University of London, an area about which he has become particularly passionate since moving to Brazil.

Simon has been involved in global property for the last 6 years and has property interests and homes in the UK, South Africa, France and Brazil. At Atlantic Trust, Simon provides particular input in the areas of business strategy, investment analysis and marketing. He has previously lived in France, Belgium and the UK.

Sara Saffir Ferreira - Office Manager

Sara graduated from Sarah Lawrence College, one of the top liberal arts universities in the United States, with a combined degree in Literature, Creative Writing and Psychology. She then went on to work in office management and customer service at an architecture firm and a major performing arts centre in New York City.

In search of new experiences, Sara worked successfully for four years as a milieu psychologist for abused children and as a personal trainer. After a fateful trip to Brazil, Sara fell in love both with her husband and the breathtaking coastline of North East Brazil.

Sara joined the Atlantic Trust team with her interest in property development and investment, as well as her experience and enthusiasm for helping clients find what they want – their own piece of paradise in Brazil. Sara has a house by the beach in João Pessoa, Brazil with her husband Rodrigo and their three dogs, however she is currently working for Atlantic Trust in the US, establishing the company's first North American office in Los Angeles, California.

Mucio Lima - Sales Negotiator

Mucio was born in Goais, Brazil and has spent much of his life living and working in various parts of Brazil. Mucio went to high school in Joao Pessoa, gaining a degree in Computer Science from Paraiba Public University. He then moved to New York City, USA where he attended Scarsdale High School. He subsequently received offers from 5 different colleges in the US, but he chose Iona College, where he gained a double major in Computer Science and Maths.

After graduation, Mucio moved back to Joao Pessoa. With a particular passion for selling and entrepreneurial by nature, Mucio has set up businesses in home security and hospital management in Paraiba, as well as gaining Masters degrees in Computer, Web and Hospital Administration and an MBA. He has started his PhD course and also gained his CRECI real estate qualification. In line with his strong sales background, Mucio is Sales Negotiator at Atlantic Trust.
